About Me

Family is the greatest joy and the absolute centerpiece of my life. I am a mom to one daughter, a "NaNa" to her twins, and blessed with a bonus daughter and three more beautiful grandchildren.

Originally from a family of ten in Kentucky, I learned early on the deep value of connection, conversation, and showing up for others. That Southern foundation shaped me into someone naturally drawn to supporting people through life's most meaningful transitions.

Today, I live in North Scottsdale with the love of my life, where you can usually find me hiking, enjoying the arts, traveling, and making memories with the people I love most.

But my passion for supporting families isn't just personal—it is professional.

For over 20 years, I have worked at the intersection of human behavior, healthcare leadership, and maternal health advocacy. With a degree in Organizational Psychology, I spent decades understanding how workplaces function, how teams communicate, and how corporate culture impacts the individual.

Through my work in healthcare and birth advocacy, I saw firsthand the gap that exists when professionals transition into parenthood—especially those navigating high-risk pregnancies, NICU stays, or the complex layers of modern family structures.

That is why I became a Certified RETAIN Parental Leave Coach.

I know that the transition into parenthood touches every single part of life. It is practical, emotional, relational, and deeply career-impacting. By combining my corporate background with my lived experience as a mother and grandmother, I bridge these two distinct worlds. I bring a thoughtful, compassionate, and highly strategic approach to supporting you as you prepare for leave, adjust to life with your baby, and confidently protect your momentum at work.

About RETAIN Parent Leave Coaching

As a Certified RETAIN Parental Leave Coach through the Center for Parental Leave Leadership, I utilize a structured, evidence-based, and human-centered framework to support parents through this critical transition.

This proven approach spans preparation, leave, postpartum adjustment, and re-entry—offering strategic guidance that brings deeper clarity, stronger workplace communication, and unshakable confidence to life's most meaningful milestone."

Why This Work Matters to Me

I have spent much of my career focused on leading and supporting organizational teams. Through that experience, I witnessed firsthand the distinct challenges many parents, including my husband and me, face in navigating both a demanding career and parenthood.

That leadership perspective, combined with my work in perinatal education and advocacy, shaped my understanding of just how complex this transition truly is. I have seen how often parents are left to navigate this profound shift in isolation, without the structural or emotional support they need.

I believe this season deserves more.

It deserves thoughtful guidance, steady support, and a science-based, research-driven space to move through it with intention.
