About Me

I’m a mom to one daughter, NaNa to her twins, and also blessed with a bonus daughter and NaNa to her three children. I am auntie to many, and family is one of the greatest joys of my life.

Originally from Kentucky, I still see myself as a girl from the South. Coming from a family of ten, I learned early the value of connection, conversation, and showing up for others. That foundation shaped me into someone warm, people-centered, and naturally drawn to supporting others through meaningful life transitions.

I now live in North Scottsdale with the love of my life.

Outside of the important role of being NaNa, I enjoy hiking, the arts, travel, and making memories with the people I love most.

That personal foundation carries into my work as a Certified RETAIN Parent Leave Coach.

I know that the transition into parenthood touches every part of life. It is practical, emotional, relational, and deeply personal. I bring a thoughtful, compassionate approach to supporting expectant and new parents as they prepare for leave, adjust to life with a new baby, and consider what comes next.

What Shapes My Approach

  • Certified RETAIN Parent Leave Coach

  • Founder, Birthing the Magic Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on perinatal education and support

  • Strategic consultant with experience in corporate leadership, stakeholder engagement, and business strategy

A Perspective Shaped by Experience

My approach is informed by decades of leadership experience in a large corporate environment, along with my work as the founder of Birthing the Magic Collaborative, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit focused on perinatal education and support.

Throughout my career, I have brought together leadership experience, stakeholder engagement, and strategic planning with a deep commitment to maternal and perinatal well-being. My work has included developing educational initiatives, strengthening partnerships, and supporting programs that expand awareness and access to resources for families.

This combination gives me a holistic understanding of the challenges parents face, both professionally and personally.

About RETAIN Parent Leave Coaching

As a Certified RETAIN Parent Leave Coach through the Center for Parental Leave Leadership, I am trained in a structured, evidence-based, human-centered approach to supporting parents through the parental leave transition.

This coaching framework is designed to support parents through preparation, leave, postpartum adjustment, and next steps, offering guidance that brings greater clarity, stronger communication, and greater confidence to a meaningful life transition.

Why This Work Matters to Me

I have spent much of my career focused on supporting the people on my teams. Through that experience, I witnessed firsthand the challenges many mothers, including myself, faced while navigating both motherhood and their careers.

That perspective, combined with my work in perinatal education and advocacy, shaped a deeper understanding of how complex this transition can be. I have seen how often this season is left to individuals to navigate without the structure or support they need.

I believe this season deserves more. Thoughtful guidance, steady support, and space to move through it with intention.

I believe this transition should feel supported, intentional, and aligned with your life.
